Leeds United: Fans profess their love for Marcelo Bielsa after comments on what he can’t imagine

Many Leeds United fans have commended Marcelo Bielsa after the Argentine coach commented on his hatred for a certain style of play.

The head coach talked about his hatred for counter-attacking football as he was pressed about whether he has had a sense of doubt while at his previous clubs (via Leeds Live). Bielsa went on to say that he can’t ‘imagine’ playing in his ‘own half’ and counter-attacking ‘three times in the match’ during his media duties ahead of the clash against Nottingham Forest.

The former Marseille manager’s philosophy isn’t proving too successful right now with the Yorkshire outfit enduring a sensational drop in form, having won just two of their last 10 matches across all competitions (via WhoScored). Fans seemed to love the comment from the manager professing his dislike of counter-attacking football as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
