Leeds United fans were purring over a tweet from Jean-Kevin Augustin about the Elland Road atmosphere from last night’s win over Millwall.
The January window signing took to social media platform Twitter to talk about how much he adored the mood that was created by supporters of the Yorkshire outfit as he claimed it was a special night for himself despite having never played for the club (via Jean-Kevin Augustin). Augustin joined the club last week from Bundesliga side Red Bull Leipzig on an initial loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer (via The Guardian).
It’s not the first time a newcomer has lauded the supporters of the club for the atmosphere created at the side’s home ground with Marcelo Bielsa also having done so just weeks into his time at the club. Following his first game at the helm, the Argentine came out and claimed that it exceeded his expectations (via Yorkshire Evening Post).
