Many Leeds fans have reacted after their recent Fifa Fair Play award was discussed on Alan Brazil’s Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT.
On the show was Danny Mills and the former Leeds defender couldn’t help but himself but make a joke about the club’s ‘dirty’ reputation, and how it doesn’t sit right that Leeds should be winning the Fifa Fair Play award.
The Championship side won the award after Bielsa demanded his side let Aston Villa score an equaliser against them in April last year after Mateusz Klich scored against them while Jonathan Kodjia was down on the floor injured.
Regardless of this, Danny Mills joked that he was furious about the result.
He said: “I think Bielsa should be sacked!
“You can’t have Leeds winning a fair play award, it’s outrageous!
“What happened to ‘dirty Leeds’? The whole ethos of the club is built on ‘dirty Leeds’ – this shouldn’t be happening!”
Plenty of other fans responded to the tweet, many of which were frustrated by the award considering that they won the fair play award despite the ‘spygate’ scandal where a Leeds representative was seen watching Derby’s training session before they played each other. You can see the replies here.

Weren’t found guilty of spying. The was no spying law to break. Found guilty of not acting in good faith. Very similar to Swansea not acting in good faith over the Dan James transfer.
