Following reports in The Athletic that Jack Clarke has ended his loan spell at Leeds United, fans have been reacting to the news upon the youngster’s impending return to Spurs.
Clarke moved back to Leeds on loan after sealing a switch to Tottenham in the summer, but only appeared a handful of times for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the current campaign – and is not thought to be under consideration for Leeds’ upcoming matches in the Championship.
Fans on Twitter reacted in mixed fashion to the news, with some wishing the teenager good luck as others worried about future incomings at Elland Road, while there were also shows of delight from the fanbase over the deal the club managed to seal in the summer.
Meanwhile, some felt sorry for Clarke after his ‘return’ went slightly sour, as Spurs recall the 19-year-old to get his career back on track.
Below is a selection of reactions to the recent development from the Leeds faithful:

Good! Absolutely rinsed Spurs on this one. Raw talent yes but never looked right.

No loss poor kid has just not looked to same player since Middlesboro. Hope a change gets him going again but think Orta struck a good deal
