Leeds United fans were reacting negatively after Marcelo Bielsa provided an update on Jean-Kevin Augustin ahead of their clash against Wigan Athletic.
The Argentine revealed that the France under-21 international is in ‘good physical health’, however, he claimed there are ‘other factors’ at play when talking about whether he will be ready for action (via Phil Hay). The 22-year-old joined the club this week after completing his loan move from Bundesliga side Red Bull Leipzig.
One fan saw parallels with former player Eddie Nketiah:

Bielsa’s comments seem to hint that Patrick Bamford will continue in attack for the Whites. The former Middlesbrough centre forward ended a run of 325 minutes without a goal when he scored a brace against Millwall on Tuesday evening (via Transfermarkt). Augustin himself hasn’t enjoyed the best of seasons this campaign, having scored just one goal in 13 appearances.
Fans were left feeling less than happy with their manager after his comments on when Augustin will be ready for action as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
‘And here we are on Leeds’ final day of the season and Augustin is now about to make his debut’ 😅

QPR highlighted a need for him to be on the bench, up to speed or not.
