Leeds United: Fans react to latest Kalvin Phillips footage

Many Leeds United fans have reacted to a tweet including footage of Kalvin Phillips, who has been seen dancing with his girlfriend via social media platform TikTok.

Phillips has been arguably the best performer for Leeds this season, contributing with consistent performances throughout the campaign for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. Indeed, he is averaging 2.8 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 1.3 clearances per game, as well as an impressive 1.9 key passes (WhoScored).

With football at a standstill due to the recent pandemic, players from English Football League clubs have been engaging with fans via social media, and Phillips’ latest video has gained a lot of reaction from the Yorkshire club’s fans.

The 24-year-old has featured 34 times for Leeds this term, helping them sit one point ahead of West Bromwich Albion at the top of the Championship table.

A potential return to the Premier League is very much on the cards with nine games remaining in the season, and Phillips will be eagerly anticipating the return of competitive action.

Phillips initially began his career playing for Yorkshire club Wortley Juniors before developing through Leeds’ academy sides, and eventually signing a professional deal in 2014 at Elland Road.

Whilst many Whites fans have responded in good nature to Phillips’ dancing, others have been cautious, gaining concern over a potential injury.
