Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern have got big smiles on the faces and their side didn’t even play yesterday in the Championship.
Indeed, the Magpies don’t play until tomorrow against Preston but after seeing results go their way yesterday in the second tier, they can finally get the promotion they have been waiting for with a win.
Indeed, whilst the likes of Huddersfield could have postponed any promotion party, they lost at home to Fulham 4-1 and with Reading losing at Nottingham Forest, too, the door is now wide open for the Magpies.
Of course, they still need to go through it but Twitter has been abuzz with excited fans thinking about what could be.
