Many Liverpool fans went wild with glee after Diogo Jota returned to first-team training on Wednesday.
The club’s official Twitter account uploaded an image of the 24-year-old back on the pitches at the AXA Training Centre.

Jota has been out of action since his side’s 1-1 draw against FC Midtjylland back in December, to which Jurgen Klopp received criticism over his use of the Portuguese forward in a dead rubber game.
Per Whoscored, the £41m summer signing had a blinding start to life at Anfield having scored nine goals from his first 15 games, averaging 2.2 shots per game which is only behind Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

With this in mind, supporters were overjoyed by his return to training and are hopeful he can be the catalyst to getting Liverpool back up the Premier League table.
