Liverpool are considering moves for Juventus’ Khephren Thuram and Tottenham’s Lucas Bergvall. The Reds are known to be in the market for midfield reinforcements amid uncertainty surrounding the futures of several of their current stars.
Alexis Mac Allister in particular has been linked with a move away from Anfield after what has been a difficult campaign. Curtis Jones is another tipped for a departure after falling out favour under Arne Slot.
Liverpool have now begun preparations for a midfield rebuild, and have added Thuram and Bergvall to their shortlist according to TEAMtalk.
Juventus man Thuram has impressed since joining from Nice in 2024, becoming a mainstay in the Old Lady’s long term project. The France international is set to be offered new deal with the club.
TEAMtalk adds that Liverpool hold a long term interest in the player but face an uphill battle for his signature.
Liverpool keen on Thuram, Bergvall

Tottenham starlet Bergvall is another target for Liverpool. The 20-year-old has been one of Tottenham’s few bright spots in what has been a difficult campaign for the club.
The Swede joined Tottenham in 2024 from Djurgardens in his home nation, going on to make 44 Premier League appearances for the club. He has 17 Premier League appearances so far this season, scoring one goal and adding two assists.
Tottenham has appointed Igor Tudor on an interim basis following the sacking of Thomas Frank as they look to steady the ship for the remainder of the season. Bergvall was a regular under Frank but may wait until the club’s next permanent manager appointment to decide his future.
With the club languishing near the relegation zone, the player may look to move to a club offering European football next season. Aston Villa are also known admirers of the player, and could challenge Liverpool for the player’s signature next summer.
