Following a clip released by Manchester City’s official account, many Sky Blues supporters have been in full debate over the potential of Liam Delap – with some fans raving over the ‘real talent‘ and ‘carbon copy of Dzeko‘.
Delap, who has been storming through City’s academy ranks since signing from Derby County last summer, is currently at the centre of debate from Sky Blues supporters after an emerged clip of his brilliant solo goal at home to Stoke City for the Sky Blues’ U18s.
Son of former Stoke midfielder Rory Delap, who is arguably famous for his trademark long throw-ins, Liam is fast attracting attention for his academy exploits – bagging seven goals and six assists in just 11 Under-18 Premier League games (Manchester Evening News). Reacting to the footage, plenty of City supporters have had their say over the teenager – stating their diverse range of opinions, mixed with due praise, on social media.
