Reacting to snapshots courtesy of Manchester City football club of Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne returning to training, many Sky Blues supporters have been debating the potential return of Sane to the first team in time for Arsenal.
Sane, who suffered an ACL injury during City’s Community Shield win over Liverpool back in August, has been out of action since last summer and unable to influence the Sky Blues’ league form – with Pep Guardiola’s side now finding themselves 25 points behind the league-leading Reds.
However, with the German winger photographed in training ahead of City’s midweek clash with Arsenal, many Citizens have been debating Sane’s potential involvement. Regardless of the seemingly good news, fans have delivered an array of opinions – with one supporter highlighting the ever-present Bayern Munich transfer saga (Bild via Bleacher Report).
The fan also claimed that Sane could suffer the ‘same fate as Pogba‘. Meanwhile, other supporters simply want to see him back in the first-team.
