It seems that Manchester City have joined the list of Premier League clubs who will now pay their casual matchday workers in full despite there being no football until further notice.
Of course, with no football, there is also nothing much do to around the club for those casual workers and since the teams are also not gaining the revenue or profit they would usually get, this is a classy decision to make.
Melissa Reddy provided this big update on her official Twitter profile and she also confirmed that the workers will be paid for the remaining five home games.
The payment, she says, will be based on pro-rata earnings over the last three months.

Alongside the Citizens, there are also the likes of Arsenal, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Wolves who are doing the same thing.
It seems that the Premier League big guns are all doing what’s right in these times of need.
