Manchester City dropped what could already be vital points in the race for the Premier League title, as they went down 3-2 at Norwich City.
The home side came flying out of the blocks as they raced into a two-goal lead, before Sergio Aguero got one back for City just before the half time break.
However, Teemu Pukki capitalised on a terrible mistake from City defender Nicolas Otamendi to add a third for the Canaries, as the Finnish striker made the most of Otamendi’s hesitant defending to tuck home past Ederson.
Despite a late goal from Rodri, Pep Guardiola’s men couldn’t find a way back into the game and came away with nothing as Daniel Farke’s side sent the Carrow Road crowd wild.
And it was the mistake from Otamendi which seemed to have captured the attention of a host of City fans, as plenty of their fans took to social media to slam the experienced centre-half for his part in their team’s loss.
Otamendi has been a loyal servant to City, but it seems that his showing this weekend has left the blue half of Manchester feeling unimpressed to say the least…
