Gareth Bale has been heavily linked to Manchester United lately, and it looks like a deal could happen following the latest reports circulating over the last day.
According to The Times and tweeted out by utdreport, Bale is open to the possibility of joining the Red Devils on loan if a deal can be agreed with Real Madrid.
The player, whose reported £600,000-a-week wages have previously proven to be a stumbling block, would probably also have to accept a cut in his wages in order to leave the Bernabeu.
There is no doubting the quality of the 31 year-old as he has scored 166 goals and supplied 138 assists in 499 appearances across his career, per Transfermarkt. He has also won the Champions League four times, as well as 13 other trophies, and he could definitely add an injection of quality to the Red Devils’ squad.
The winger has not played a lot of football as of late for Madrid, but he would definitely add some great experience to the squad and when he is match fit it would definitely be a great option for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to have.
