Plenty of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a tweet from Mark Douglas after he shared news of the decision that Norwich City have taken on their matchday tickets.
As per their official Twitter page, the Canaries have made the decision to begin the rebate process for supporters who have committed to a matchday ticket or experience, or who have a seasonal product, for their remaining games in the 2019/20 season.
This comes as the Tyneside club were revealed to be taking supporters’ money for season tickets for the next campaign, despite the uncertainty surrounding the takeover situation and who is going to be in charge at St. James’ Park. This caused a massive uproar with members of the Toon faithful, as was discussed on Pod On The Tyne.
Many Magpies fans will hope that the club follow in the footsteps of the likes of Norwich but, with the prospective takeover looming large, it seems as if they have other things on their mind.
