Newcastle fans on Twitter all make the same loan joke about this season’s kit

Newcastle fans may get a hard time from their club during the transfer window but at least they have a sense of humour about it. The club has released all of their kits, which are now on sale on the Newcastle website, but the fans have been playing the club at their own game with their requests.

Whilst the club always manages to underdeliver in the transfer market, they always find a way to overperform when they bring out their new kits and this season is no different. The club’s three kits all have class about them and the fans will no doubt be putting their hands in their pockets to get one of the new strips at least. However, the fans have been joking about loaning the kits and then deciding whether they want to purchase them full-price at the end of the season.

These jibes have come as the club seem unable to complete any permanent signings. The Kenedy loan deal was supposedly going to cost them £20 million but instead, Mike Ashley opted to loan him and then assess his options at the end of the season. If the Brazilian has a superb season at St James Park over the next 12 months the fans could see themselves lose out on the youngster in the long-run as Maurizio Sarri could opt to make the South American a member of his senior squad next summer.
