Newcastle fans would like to believe that their better form of late would have sparked belief back around the ground.
This comes after ten games in the Premier League where Newcastle were unable to win a game but now, Rafa Benitez and his team will be happy with how they’re performing.
There is still an element of unhappiness around St James’ Park and that won’t be rectified easily but better performances on the pitch and more reluctance to spend in the transfer window could work wonders.
After all, Newcastle are still well in the relegation dog-fight and could suffer the consequences if they don’t recruit in the January market.
A player who is primed for Premier League football is MLS star Miguel Almiron, a creative midfielder that would be a brilliant acquisition for Newcastle.
Almiron, who is valued at £9 million on Transfermarkt, is a player that many will be hoping to tempt towards their club during the transfer window but Newcastle have to do what it takes to bring him to St James’ Park.
The 24-year-old has been a massive part in Atlanta’s strong arrival in the MLS, where this season alone he has scored 13 goals and bagged a further 13 assists.
A player as good as Miguel Almiron will be expecting a move and with Newcastle wanting the chance to sign a playmaker of his quality, both parties could be very happy with the move.
Goals have been few and far between for Newcastle, as they remain among the lowest scorers in the Premier League but with a player in Almiron that scores and creates chances for his team-mates, that will no longer be a problem associated with Newcastle.
