Some Newcastle United fans are in agreement with each other that former player and manager Kevin Keegan should be made a Director of Football at the Tyneside club.
An article from ChronicleLive stated that the Magpies should prioritise appointing a DoF and suggested the ideal candiates to go for, which prompted some reaction on Twitter.
Amongst the nominees were: Les Ferdinand, Luis Campos, Fredi Bobic and Ralf Rangnick, but a name that was not included in the piece that some members of the Toon faithful called for was Keegan.

The 69-year old managed 177 NUFC games, with the team winning 91 of those, drawing 37 and losing 49, scoring 304 goals and conceding 198, according to Transfermarkt. That gives Keegan a winning ratio of around 51%, meaning that he won over half of the matches he was in charge of. The Englishman had two spells as Newcastle coach, from 1993 until 1997 and also in 2008.
