Loads of Newcastle United fans have discussed Sam Allardyce’s comments on Rafa Benitez and Steve Bruce after he revealed on talkSPORT Breakfast his thoughts on the Tyneside club’s managerial situation.
Comments were relayed by ChronicleLive of Allardyce laying out his true feelings on Benitez, which were not very positive.
“Rafa did a great PR job in himself and how he managed that club at that time,” he told the show.
He also talked out how he never understood why the Spanish coach was deemed to be so good, and gave the reason that the Magpies played negative football under him in the 65-year old’s opinion.
The former Premier League and England manager also gave his damning verdict on Bruce. He claims that the current coach will find it difficult if the proposed takeover happens, and added that whatever the negative press Bruce has received, Allardyce claims that he has done a very good job this season and is a manager of high quality anyway.

I dont care for bruce but I do think it must be difficult for him probably guessing he will be out of a job pretty soon, I wonder if hes been approached and told about his future

Every manager this happens to gets millions in compensation and moves on to another job. If he wants to manage again he will no doubt. He’s probably the most journeyman manager still active he will move on too, this dream job spin was just PR.
