Loads of Newcastle United fans have lauded news coming from beIN SPORTS (via NUFC 360) as UEFA’s Alexander Ceferin has confirmed that Financial Fair Play (FFP) will undergo changes due to the situation with the global pandemic.
He added that the rules will have to be adapted because the situation for clubs is not easy. Indeed, the virus that has swept the footballing community has had a negative impact on plenty of teams financially, as revenue from the likes of matchday tickets are no longer available with games being called off.

With the summer transfer window coming up, it is likely that certain sides will perhaps have less money to spend than they would have previously liked, meaning that they may not be able to get the targets they feel are necessary in improving their team for the next season.
However, with the changes, this could have a positive impact on the likes of NUFC, who could have more disposable income to spend if the prospective takeover goes through in the North East.
