Miguel Almiron has spoken to Newcastle United‘s official channels about his hopes to repay their fans’ support.
The Paraguay international has still not been involved in a goal in the Premier League, as per WhoScored, but he has still received plenty of love from Newcastle fans, which he is happy about:

There is, of course, more to a creative player than goals and assists and he averaged 1.3 key passes and 0.7 dribbles last season, while starting the new season in similar form as he made 1 key pass and 2 dribbles against Arsenal.
Another trait of Almiron’s which has made him popular is his energy and willingness to run, which is mentioned in the official Premier League website‘s report on him.
Almiron has endeared himself to some of the club’s supporters, as has been shown by the responses to the club’s tweet.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the comments, including posts from supportive Newcastle fans, can be seen below:
He played like he’s a 14 year old lad who’s been asked if he wants a game. So much enthusiasm. Needs that first goal and he’ll be off and running
