The Newcastle Consortium Supporters Ltd (NCSL) have sent a clear message out in terms of the proposed £300m takeover of Newcastle United by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) consortium.
The group reacted to a development from The Magpie Group urging fans of the St. James’ Park faithful to ask their local MPs questions with regards to the failed deal between Mike Ashley and the KSA group, and even included a quite substantial list of Twitter handles that they could then contact.

The NCSL had been encouraging something similar by giving a letter template for supporters in the North East to send to the MPs with the aim of trying to get some more transparency about how and why exactly the bid failed, with the added hope of whether it could be revived.
They tweeted in response that ‘we are moving forward’, suggesting that these pleas to the local MP’s are moving in the right direction and will eventually lead to more answers with regards to the failed takeover of the Tyneside club.

What next for the Newcastle takeover?
With the added pressure being put on to try and get some answers, the legal dispute between the Magpies and the Premier League may well have to be settled in a court case in front of a judge.
