‘No chance’, ‘Crazy decision’ - Newcastle United fans react to latest transfer claim on Twitter

Newcastle United fans here in the Tavern have been sure to make their voices heard, as a draw against rock bottom Swansea City was the last straw.

Rafa Benitez’s side hosted the Premier League’s worst placed side Swansea City in last weekend’s encounter, as a disappointing 1-1 draw saw them miss out on the opportunity to pick up a valuable three points.

Indeed, that killer instinct is still yet to be discovered at the point of the Newcastle United attack, and defensive problems continuing to spell trouble for Benitez’s side.

Subsequently, the transfer window is something that many of the Toon Army are looking to as the saviour for their beloved Newcastle United’s season. Although, at a club where nothing’s come easy in recent times, complications with Mike Ashley’s sale of the club may take its toll on the business that Benitez is allowed to complete this month.

However, United fans have been given a reason to smile as Newcastle Editor Mark Douglas gave an update on Twitter, claiming that Henri Saivet is set to depart, in order to make way for potential signings.

Sounds as if Henri Saivet to Montpellier is a goer. Outgoing at #nufc should clear the way for incomings (finally)….
