Nottingham Forest: Fans enjoyed photos of squad’s return to training

Nottingham Forest have uploaded photos from their first training session since English football was forced to a standstill back in March.

The official Forest Twitter has posted photos of Matty Cash, Tendayi Darikwa, Joe Worrall and Ryan Yates in action as they train together for the first time in more than two months.

The Reds prepare to potentially return to action in June and continue their promising season in the Championship. As it stands, Forest are fifth in the table on 60 points after winning 16, drawing 12 and losing nine matches. If it stays this way as the season ends, Sabri Lamouchi’s side will be battling it out for a place in the Premier League next season via the play-offs.

Many Reds fans have flocked to the club tweet to see their players in action for the first time since March. One supporter has commented that they have ‘never been so happy to see Ryan Yates’.
