Nottingham Forest fans were loving the news that the club had sold out all 7,000 of their tickets for the Carabao Cup tie against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Sabri Lamouchi’s men have swept aside all in the competition so far. In the first round, the Reds beat Fleetwood Town 1-0. The draw for the second round found them pit against east Midland rivals Derby County, who they beat 3-0.
The victory was just one of the seven-game unbeaten run the club are currently on, winning three and drawing four of the seven games (via WhoScored).
Forest’s next game will be an away trip to Championship leaders Swansea City, with Lamouchi’s side sitting just outside the play-off places.
Fans were over the moon after finding out that the club had sold out their entire allocation for the Arsenal trip, as some fans took to Twitter to label their club ‘massive’.
Here is a selection of tweets from the City Ground faithful:
Our away following is something to be highly proud of. #nffc See you all there. Im quite sure there are more seats to sell, if Arsenal really want 9-10k proper away support noise in their house.
