Nottingham Forest fans celebrated the departure of Liam Bridcutt as he moved to League One side Bolton Wanderers on loan until January.
The 30-year-old midfielder has been at the City Ground since moving from Leeds United in the summer of 2017 for an undisclosed fee.
In his two years at the club, Bridcutt made just 31 appearances for the Reds, including just four last season (via Transfermarkt).
Bridcutt moves to struggling side Bolton, who started the season with a 12-point deduction, and only last week secured their near future with a takeover from Football Ventures (Whites) Limited.
Bridcutt is a defensive midfielder and was competing with as many as three other players in Sabri Lamouchi’s squad (via Transfermarkt).
Fans seemed pleased with the departure of a player some believe isn’t good enough for the club, as they took to Twitter to tweet their response.
Here is a selection of tweets from the City Ground faithful:

Clough out next please… one of the most disappointing signings we’ve made in the past 15 years…. had massive reputation and potential but been a absolute flop and waste of time since he arrived

Good on him, he will be good for them, never deserved to be dropped, but we have many better players in the middle of the park now!
