Nottingham Forest: Fans praise John Bostock following performance versus Charlton Athletic

Nottingham Forest fans took to Twitter to praise the performance of John Bostock following the 27-year-old’s performance against Charlton Athletic after the player himself tweeted yesterday.

The City Ground faithful were reacting following a post by the midfielder commenting on the game and thanking the fans for their support on Wednesday evening.

In his post, the Englishman admitted the side had to ‘dig deep’ to get a result at The Valley. He said: “We had to dig deep for the point last night.” (Source: John Bostock)

Bostock was a second-half sub for Nottingham Forest, however, had a meaningful impact on the game as he won the joint-most headers on the pitch.

The substitute appearance was Bostock’s first for the club following his loan signing from French club Toulouse.

The draw against Charlton continued Sabri Lamouchi side’s mixed start to the season, having won one, lost one and drawn two of their opening four games.

Fans were pleased with the impact from the on-loan Toulouse man and took to Twitter to praise him.

Here is a selection of tweets from Forest fans:

Mate You played well when you came on and held the midfield together controlling the play that’s what got us back ontop in the game Keep going John!
