According to The i Paper, Nottingham Forest are among the clubs closely monitoring Chelsea striker Liam Delap, with Oliver Glasner a long-time admirer of the 23-year-old.
Forest are looking to bring in another centre-forward to provide competition for Chris Wood, and Delap is viewed as a player capable of adding pace, power and potential to the attack.
The England youth international burst onto the scene with 12 Premier League goals for Ipswich Town during the 2024/25 season, despite the club suffering relegation, earning himself a move to Chelsea.
However, his first year at Stamford Bridge proved far more difficult. Injuries disrupted his progress and he managed just one league goal, leaving his long-term future in west London uncertain.
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to listen to offers in the region of £35-40 million, and with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis willing to support Glasner in the market, a move could develop before the transfer window closes.
