The Nottingham Forest star has delivered the goods with his recent Instagram post.
Matty Cash has uploaded a snap of him during a training session at Wilford Lane with the caption ‘So good to be back’. The Reds returned to training this week after officials gave the green light to Championship sides to resume a bit of normality. However, at the moment, clubs are hosting training sessions in small groups only, in order to adhere to health and safety rules.

The FIFA 20 Team of the Season man has been an almost ever-present figure in Forest’s 2019/20 league campaign, missing just one match throughout the entire term so far. Cash has also contributed to seven goals in the Championship, assisting four and scoring three of his own (via Transfermarkt).

The Reds have been confined to self-isolation and home training sessions for more than two months, so hitting the grass of Wilford Lane will have been a much-needed treat. Fans especially will be excited to see the players back in action as they look to kick on in the league and challenge for promotion.

As it stands, Forest are currently fifth in the Championship table and will feature in this season’s play-offs. Securing the third promotion spot into the Premier League will be a high priority of Sabri Lamouchi and his side as they prepare for Project Restart.
