Nottingham Forest have been one of the teams to watch so far this season in the Sky Bet Championship with them playing some very strong stuff near the top of the league.
The Reds have a game in hand on those above them, too, and that could levitate them further up the table, with a third of the season now done.
Certainly, this is the strongest, most resilient Forest side we have seen for a long time and Sabri Lamouchi deserves real credit for pulling this deep squad together and in the same direction.
Just because they have plenty of players, though, does not mean that they are going to rest on their laurels, with Paul Taylor revealing that a striker and a winger could well be looked at in the January window:
Nottingham Forest will target a striker and a winger in January… but have 20% of the season to play before then… is this the year they shake off their traditional, costly December malaise? #nffc https://t.co/WqU8Wjhneq

Forest certainly have the ability to sign more players in the next market and fans have taken this update on board before reacting to it positively.
Let’s take a look at what has been said:
Exactly the two areas we need to fill. I trust the club to get it right – haven’t been able to say that in a while #nffc

If we’re in the mix still go big – Eze or Bowen would be a statement

We definatley need a striker, but as for the malaise- well IF we can shake it off we can definitely cement a place in the top 6 but we need to keep players like Marty Cash
