Nottingham Forest closed the gap to the top two on Sunday afternoon as they beat Luton Town 3-1 at the City Ground with two goals from Joe Lolley and one from Lewis Grabban.
Having seen Leeds United lose to QPR on Saturday lunchtime to continue their poor run of form, the Reds knew that a win could see them really turn up the heat – particularly with them possessing a game in hand on those around them.
They did exactly that, too, with a decent performance and many of their players have come in for praise on social media since the result.
Indeed, Matty Cash is one of them with him performing well again and earning praise after issuing his own message of positivity towards Joe Lolley.
