Nottingham Forest are back in action this weekend as they travel to Reading in what is an important games for both sides.
The pair are actually set to face each other twice in a matter of weeks given that this fixture is their game in hand but first of all is the scheduled one this weekend at the Madejski Stadium.
Indeed, both are in decent form with Forest in the play-off places and looking to try and nab the top two whilst the Royals have been resurgent under Mark Bowen and with a win of their own might well start thinking about a top six run.
A big game, then, and equally as important to both sides is this month’s transfer window with both surely looking to try and add to their squads before the deadline.
Forest, of course, have a decent squad but another striker could be one area they look at adding to – especially with Phil McNulty’s latest transfer update in mind:
Nottingham Forest among a number of clubs showing interest in Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodija – French side Amiens the same. Missed last night's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg at Leicester City through illness.

An intriguing one, let’s see what Reds fans have had to say about this on social media:

Yes. Please.

Kodjia isn’t the answer for me, certainly not for any significant amount of money. Very flakey few years at Villa after that first good season, seems injury prone too. #avfc #nffc

Jonathan Kodjia the latest to be linked. Rate him from what Ive saw of him. Villa fans willing to drive him wherever he wants to go but Newcastle fans said the same about Colback, and he was class for us 🤷♂️ #nffc #avfc
