Nottingham Forest’s latest Sky Bet Championship game ended in a draw last night as the Reds played out a 1-1 scoreline against Reading for the second time in a matter of weeks.
The Reds were in control in this one – as they have been for much of the campaign – but again let their lead slip as Sam Baldock scored the equaliser for the visitors.
Another point in the board, even so, and the Reds can now focus on a game with Brentford which could be huge in the race for promotion at the end of the season.
Fans will also hope new signings are going to be made between now and that game and then the end of the month whilst Paul Taylor is bringing news of a fairly imminent young signing:
Marcus McGuane's move to Nottingham Forest from Barcelona is edging closer. Told it is only a matter of paperwork now, before the highly rated midfielder officially joins #nffc

The youngster is set for a move from the Catalan giants, then, so let’s take a look at the reaction to that:
I saw him and his agent walking down pavilion road on Monday
