Nottingham Forest closed the gap on the top two yesterday afternoon as they beat Luton Town 3-1 at the City Ground in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Reds saw that Leeds United had lost on Saturday lunchtime to further open the door to the automatic spots and, like Fulham would prove to do on Friday night, the Reds gladly got their foot further in.
Indeed, with their game in hand on those around them they are in very handy position at the moment in the league and their players are looking in good form too.
That does not mean, however, that they can rest on their laurels in the transfer window and fans are naturally going to want to see some players join the club to try and improve things further.
With that in mind, then, Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports is reporting that they have agreed a deal for Adama Diakhaby:
