
Arsenal are chasing Peruvian whizkid Andy Polo, according to talkSPORT.com.
The 16-year-old forward, who is currently plying his trade for Universitario in his homeland, has become an intricate part of the first-team, despite his tender age.
Polo has so far netted 3 goals in 12 appearances in his breakthrough season at Universitario, and has also impressed on the international stage as well, scoring 3 goals in 4 games for the Peru Under-17’s.
Several European clubs are now circling the 5’7’’ youngster, and reports in Peru claim that Arsenal, Udinese, Rayo Vallecano, Villarreal and Olympiacos are all pondering a move for the wonderkid when the window re-opens.
It is believed that Universitario are currently in some financial trouble and are contemplating the potential sale of their young star for around £800,000 when the January transfer window opens.
