Queens Park Rangers: Fans confident of cup progress after Carabao Cup opponents revealed

After QPR’s dramatic penalty-shootout victory over Bristol City on Tuesday night, fans seemed to be in an upbeat mood once their Carabao Cup second-round opponents were revealed.

The R’s will now take on Portsmouth at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium after seeing off the Robins 5-4 on penalties following a pulsating 3-3 draw in normal time.

And the prospect of taking on Pompey has not deterred the confidence of supporters, who look to relish meeting the League One side in the cup for a second successive season, having seen them off last year in an FA Cup replay.

QPR have enjoyed an impressive start to the season under Mark Warburton and are unbeaten in their first three games, which may explain why these fans are feeling positive about a possible run in the Carabao Cup.
