QPR fans laid into their defence last night as the team threw away the chance to earn some points at home to high-flying Swansea at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
The Hoops had found their way back into the game after Bersant Celina’s opener was cancelled out by Jordan Hugill’s equaliser, only for the team to concede a penalty soon after, gifting Swansea a lead which they would go on to extend before the final whistle.
Supporters were left particularly disappointed by the giveaway of the penalty, with defender Yoann Barbet, who gave away a needless penalty with a clumsy challenge on Jordan Garrick, coming in for most of the criticism from fans.
The result sank QPR to 19th in the table after suffering their second successive defeat following an otherwise promising start to the campaign.
But fans seemed frustrated by the defence orchestrating their own downfall as the penalty saw them beaten at home for the first time this season:
CAN WE HAVE A DEFENCE PLEASE?

Barbet is a French Lynch

Toni Leisner has to play. Flash looking cross field passes are no use if you can’t defend. And Barbet can’t defend.
