Ebere Eze was the toast of W12 on Saturday after his free-kick helped the Hoops to a first home league win of the season against Wigan Athletic at the weekend.
QPR had gone behind early on against the Latics, but produced a stirring second-half fightback to secure all three points at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
Goals from Nahki Wells and Jordan Hugill helped Mark Warburton’s side towards victory, though Eze’s perfectly placed free-kick – that gave the team their first lead of the game – had supporters heaping praise on the 21-year-old midfielder.
Some fans called on the club to secure the player’s long-term future after Eze notched his second goal of the season – while others looked forward to the youngster getting an international call-up.
And after helping the club return to winning ways following back-to-back defeats, supporters seemed keen to see more of Eze as his positive start to the season continued:
