Queens Park Rangers supporters were singing the praises of striker Nahki Wells after his brace helped secure a 3-2 victory over Luton Town.
The result saw the Hoops pick up from where they left off following the international break, with their success over the Hatters their third in a row in the Championship.
Eberechi Eze’s early thunderbolt opened the scoring, but it was Wells’ double – with the strikes coming within eight minutes of each other – that gathered plenty of kind words towards the Bermudan striker as the team held on for victory.
Fans were calling for the 29-year-old to make his loan move from Burnley permanent, as Wells was on the receiving end of praise from the home support for an impressive performance.
He is clearly a fan favourite judging by these responses – with supporters backing Wells to continue his good form after doubling his goal tally for the season:
