Queens Park Rangers fans were delighted – if not somewhat relieved – following a tense 3-2 victory over Luton Town on Saturday afternoon.
Mark Warburton’s side raced into a 3-0 first-half lead following a long-range effort from Eberechi Eze and Nahki Wells’ quickfire double – though they handed the Hatters a lifeline before the break thanks to a goalkeeping error from Joe Lumley that allowed Harry Cornick to finish into an empty net.
Luton scored again early in the second half to threaten pulling off a remarkable comeback, but the Hoops held on to record a third consecutive league victory.
The result saw QPR end the day in seventh place – but clearly did not have it all go their way on a nail-biting afternoon in W12.
Judging by the reaction from the supporters, it seems that the game was anything but comfortable despite their explosive start.
These are some of the reactions from the fans as the R’s scraped all three points:
Its not a QPR match unless you have to bite your nails off the last 15 minutes
