Celtic can begin to safely think that domestic success will be theirs once again this season, after recovering well from a poor start to their campaign.
Many were shocked at just how badly the Hoops were playing but a flurry of consistently good performances have propelled Celtic back to where they belong, at the top of the Premiership.
Their bad performances highlighted the need for change in some positions, especially right-back as Gamboa and Lustig aren’t good enough for a side that has serious aspirations.
In their place could arrive Wolves right-back Dominic Iorfa, a player cast aside upon their return to the Premier League.
Iorfa, who is valued at £1.8 million on Transfermarkt, is out of contract in the summer and surely set for a move away from Wolves, sooner rather than later.
The 23-year-old is yet to appear in the Premier League this season, settling for the Premier League 2 instead. A league in which he has been impressive in, scoring twice in three games but not a league that will make anyone want to buy him.
Celtic though, could bring out the very best of Dominic Iorfa. With the need for a right-back, it’s not as if they have many options to turn to instead and the Englishman could be very good if he finds his rhythm again.
Iorfa still has plenty of time left ahead of him to go on and prove himself to the fans, showing what he is really capable of.
A brief loan spell with Ipswich last season gave him the opportunity to play 23 games, in which he did so from a variety of different positions, which adds extra reason as to why Celtic should make a move for him.
