Sheffield Wednesday travel to the City Ground this weekend to complete the second of their East Midlands double-header in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Owls were at Pride Park in the midweek set of fixtures as they dominated Derby County in the first-half before letting them back into proceedings and eventually drawing 1-1.
Many saw that game as one where they dropped two points and now, against a Forest side that looks a genuine play-off rival to the Owls this season, they need to try and earn all three.
Fortunately enough for the men from Hillsborough, they have a very good record in recent years against the men from Trentside as Dom Howson has revealed:
Sheffield Wednesday have won eight of their last 10 meetings with Nottingham Forest. #SWFC https://t.co/0IaOQ4j4bt

A very fine record indeed but fans are a superstitious sort and there’s a feeling on Twitter that now this has been mentioned things might not go to plan.
Let’s take a look at the reaction on social media:
• 1-0 up at half time
• Take strikers off
• Try to defend lead
• Concede equaliser in 88th minute.— Matthew Theobald (@DirtyLyle) December 12, 2019
