Sheffield Wednesday fans have had their say about potentially seeing Atdhe Nuhiu play against England tonight.
The big Kosovan attacker may well feature against England for tonight’s Euro 2020 Qualifier.
The striker has been at the club since 2013 and has played well over 200 league games for the Owls – so it might feel a bit strange for those Wednesday and England fans seeing him play for another team tonight.
Remarkably, in Kosovo’s first-ever competitive campaign, they still remain unbeaten after four games in a group with England, Czech Republic, Montenegro and Bulgaria, carrying on their impressive form with a 2-1 win over the Czech Republic on Saturday.
Many fans joked about Nuhiu playing against England (though he will have to do so from the bench), saying that they hope he scores but as long as England get one more. Others joked that England were in trouble, with one saying “RIP England.”
