When Barry Bannan decided to post a message on Twitter, many of the Sheffield Wednesday fans decided to share their praise for their star man.

The Scottish midfielder took to the social media outlet following their disappointing defeat to Cardiff City on Sunday afternoon but wanted to thank the Owls’ faithful for their continued support throughout 2019 and stated how important it had been to the team.
Bannan also mentioned how they were looking forward to what 2020 would bring. Indeed, with how things are going currently, a play-off spot could be in the offering for the Yorkshire outfit, however things would have to improve as they have suffered consecutive defeats.
Judging by their comments, fans appear to be fully behind the midfielder, with many of them sharing a number of positive messages.
A plethora of the Owls’ faithful appeared to think Bannan was the best player at the club, with a couple suggesting he has been the best footballer to have played at Hillsborough over the past decade.
