It’s been a rather inconsistent 2020 so far for Sheffield Wednesday and Owls fans are bound to be hoping that they can nip such an issue in the bud before too long.
The men from Hillsborough still have hopes of making the play-offs this season but in recent weeks they have lost a lot of ground to some of the sides above them and at the moment they look a little short of the promotion places.
Away from the league, though, they have done well in the FA Cup, in which they have beaten Brighton and QPR so far. Up next, though, is perhaps the most daunting task they could have got with a clash against holders Manchester City and it’s a game that has been picked for live television coverage:

Naturally, this news has got fans on Twitter talking so let’s take a look at the best of what has been on social media about the update, with many discussing the ticket prices for the match:
Shame we haven’t just priced it £10-£15 to fill the old girl

Just my 2p, £25 for a midweek game live on the BBC, I think you've priced it wrong even if it is Man City, 10 years ago they were a nothing club. £15 and it would be a guaranteed sell-out.

If it was free entry someone would moan that they had to pay their bus fare to the ground.

Good pricing. Well done Wednesday.

Embarrassing ticket prices yet again from our clueless chairman! Only chance off getting the stadium full this season and an atmosphere to go with it.£20 would have been plenty with the game live on tv.
