Sheffield Wednesday need to get on a run of form before too long this season as they look to try and get themselves into the top six.
Recent form in the league has not been good overall for the Owls and that lack of consistency and momentum could be what leaves them short in the top six race.
Garry Monk has certainly let it be known that he feels some of his players are not good enough or up for the fight, too, and so it seems fair to suggest that the Owls need to roll their sleeves up and get some wins on the board.
With that in mind, the men from Hillsborough will be intrigued to see if any of their young players can break into the senior side with them playing to a draw with Leeds United yesterday:

Let’s take a look at what has been said in reaction to that:
FT: #SWFC 2 Leeds 2. Late heartbreak for the Owls as Shaw's own goal in added on time ensures it finishes all square.
Brennan and Shaw netted for the Owls. Dawodu and Hidalgo stood out on the right.

That run! Get him in the midfield in the 1st team, that's what we've been missing for years.

Hidalgo hardly tracked back allowing their full back free reign to overlap and put Dawodu under pressure. Hughes much better on opposite wing.

At least they are learning from the seniors in how to hold on to a lead late on.
