Spurs have been named as one of the teams interested in a top-flight player wanted by multiple Premier League clubs.
Tottenham are enduring a trying campaign, with Thomas Frank continuing to be under pressure following another Premier League defeat at the weekend, taking their tally to 10.
While they have a last-16 Champions League tie to look forward to, the Lilywhites’ domestic form is barely better than it was last year under Ange Postecoglou – averaging 1.16 points per game this term compared to 1 point per game in 2024/25.
It would therefore stand to reason that plenty of transfer activity in the summer could be in order, with plenty of rumours swirling around despite the winter window closing just days ago.
Spurs battling Arsenal and Chelsea for Iliman Ndiaye summer swoop

According to CaughtOffside, Spurs are one of several clubs eyeing a potential swoop for Everton midfielder Iliman Ndiaye in the summer.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United were also mentioned as suitors for the Senegal international, who could demand a fee of up to €75m (£65m).
That may be a price worth paying for Spurs if they want to return to European contention next season, though the fact they are set for successive lowly finishes in the top flight will see them fall further away from their rivals, financially speaking.
The lack of European football would surely be a negative factor if Ndiaye was made to choose between rival bids, particularly if Everton end up qualifying for Europe themselves.
And with months before the summer transfer window even opens, there is plenty of water to flow under the bridge before getting too excited about an official Spurs approach for Ndiaye.
Frank’s future would surely be the key factor in terms of who they decide to bring in, and it is not clear at this point who will have control over Tottenham’s transfer funds in a few months’ time.
So while their London rivals and weekend foes Man Utd battle it out at the other end of the Premier League table, it seems like Spurs have a fight on their hands to work their way into this particular transfer battle.
