The big games keep coming for Sunderland in Sky Bet League One with another important match on the horizon this weekend at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats lost last time out to Portsmouth at Fratton Park in a clash between two promotion hunters and this weekend sees two more go head to head as Sunderland welcome Ipswich to Wearside.
Both are capable of going up this year with Sunderland roaring back into the promotion picture and Ipswich having been there for most of the season.
Certainly, it’s a chance for one of the sides to set themselves up for a run at the top two and Sunderland fans will be excited to see what their squad can do.
Indeed, it’s settled now in terms of players that have come in and left after the January window and fans have reflected on the business done and what they think can be achieved in the coming months.
Let’s take a look at what has been said on Twitter in regards to that:

Totally shocking no no striker no creativity in medfield and no goal plus out of his depth manager

Average. Lacking an incoming goal scoring CF. Time will tell whether it was good or bad.

Weakened the team from this time last season

Pretty average. Hopefully saved some cash though. #SignificantInvestment

Looked a good window, couple of championship players in, you can only yell at the end of the season, initial impression Allright.

Far too early to say. If they all click and get us up it’ll have been an excellent window. Fact is, we don’t know how they will fair in League 1 and if they have the fight in them.
