Sunderland’s woeful form continued yesterday evening as they slumped to another defeat at home to Burton Albion in Sky Bet League One.
The Black Cats are certainly well out of confidence and rhythm at the moment with a number of their players looking off of the pace and simply not up for the fight.
There is quality in the squad but it’s gradually getting watered down and many fans have already turned on manager Phil Parkinson.
The men from Wearside have some serious work to do, then, but it seems as though Parkinson is not trusted as the man to oversee it all at the moment.
Indeed, after he left it late to bring on bright spark Benji Kimpioka, fans were quick to ridicule him for the late call and to suggest that he might be best he left the club:

Can a P45 be introduced for Parkinson?

It’s all going wrong at Sunderland right now and something needs to change sharpish.
