Sunderland’s difficulties continued at the weekend as the Black Cats could only draw 1-1 in front of their own fans with Blackpool in Sky Bet League One.
The men from the Stadium of Light have not had a good season so far with them changing manager and at the moment it’s hard to make a case for them making the play-offs come the end of the season.
Clearly, a lot needs to change at the club but whether or not it’s actually going to remains to be seen with the mood at a real low.
One thing that might well have improved the fans’ mood, though, was Phil Bardsley’s celebration as Burnley beat Newcastle.
A former Sunderland player, the defender certainly let everyone know how pleased he was to see the Clarets score against the Magpies:
